Eton takes Centre but waste it and a goal kick to Burnham. Lucien ‘safe hands’ Carty takes a great kick Harry ‘always up for it’ Spraggon takes it well and lays it off ,Nathan bombs down the wing and deliverers a great ball Toby gets a right foot to it yes his right foot and what a goal 2-0 to The Blues. Eton wick take the centre and a have a short spell of passing, but Remy ‘The terrier’ Hall with a superb sliding challenge that was timed to perfection wins the ball he runs through the middle of the pitch he takes a curling shot from long range its 3-0 to the blues, who are we, who are we. Half Time beckons Eton Wick seem glad for the break to try and regroup.
Burnham take kick off but lose the ball poor pass , Eton wicks right back sprint down the wing with the ball but nothing’s getting pass Luca ‘cool as you like’ Sardo , Eton wick try a long ball but it went out of play throw in to the blues Tom ‘Mr Depenable’Clarke takes his usual Rory Delap throw Harry spots attacker on the wing the defender tries to push him out Nathan turns the defender by the corner flag goes inside and spots a gap 4-0 to the Burnham blues a shot that was placed to perfection. Eton wick manage a late consolation goal from a free kick – too late Blues win the League Cup with at times some truly mesmerising Football well done to every single Boy on that pitch you gave your all for the Blue & Whites from the Keeper to the defence, midfield and attack you were a credit to yourselves and Burnham Junior football Club.
